ERASMUS+ DigiVET Project – 04 March 2020, 2° Training Session in Italy – Focus on Jewellery Design & Making

On 04 March 2020, the Metallo Nobile Jewellery School hosted in Florence the second training session of the DigiVET Project for the applying of the 3D Modelling Technology in the Arts & Handicraft field

Last 04 March 2020 took place in Florence at Metallo Nobile Jewellery School – official local partner of Centro Machiavelli in the Artistic Craftsmanship area - the second training session for the applying of the 3D Modelling Technology in the Arts & Handicraft field provided by the DigiVET project (ERASMUS+ K.A2, Strategic Partnerships for Vocational Education and Training, Innovation).

The training session deepened the innovative pathway developed within the project for applying the 3D Modelling technology in the arts & handicraft field, focusing how it could be adapted to jewels design and making. The session recalled and expanded the contents already launched within the first training workshop held in June 2019 in experimental way. The training indeed included all the improvements and updating made on the former pilot version of the Curriculum thanks to the feedback and contributions collected through tailored evaluation sheets submitted to the participants of the June session.

The students of jewelry, the young artisans and goldsmiths who have been involved in the training activities, had also the opportunity to be leaded by an expert trainer in a direct testing of the 3D Modelling processes. They made by themselves practical exercises and applied demonstration on jewellery design, using the 3D technology presented by the trainer during the course.
