Last 19 June 2019 took place in Florence at Metallo Nobile Jewellery School – official local partner of Centro Machiavelli in the Artistic Craftsmanship area - the first training session for the applying of the 3D Modelling Technology in the Arts & Handicraft field provided by the DigiVET project (ERASMUS+ K.A2, Strategic Partnerships for Vocational Education and Training, Innovation).

The training session introduced the innovative pathway developed within the project for applying the 3D Modelling technology in the arts & handicraft field, focusing how it could be adapted to jewels design and making. The students of jewellery, the young artisans and goldsmiths who have been involved in the training activities, had also the opportunity to be leaded by an expert trainer in a direct testing of the 3D Modelling processes. They made by themselves practical exercises and applied demonstration on jewellery design, using the 3D technology presented by the trainer during the course.
