ERASMUS + DigiVET Project – Starting of the DigiVET training sessions

The first step for the DigiVET training will start at the Metallo Nobile Jewellery School in Florence

With the workshop to be hosted on 19 June 2019 at the Metallo Nobile Jewellery School, the training sessions for the local experimentation of the DigiVET Curriculum are beginning. The innovative contents provided by the digitally enriched Curriculum are aimed to bridge formal and non-formal vocational education and training . The training activities are placed in the general implementation frame of the DigiVET Project, Programme Erasmus+, KA2 Strategic Partnership for Innovation in VET.

The workshop is aimed to students, young apprentices, handicrafts and professionals belonging to the artistic craftsmanship and it will focus on the development of the competences for applying 3D printing technologies to goldsmith's art and jewelry. The workshop’s core will be constituted by simulations and practical exercises on 3D Modelling processes, letting the participants to test the innovative practices set within the DigiVET Curriculum  by their own, under the careful supervision of an experienced trainer.
