The final conference held in Florence on 26 June 2024 at the Biblioteca delle Oblate concludes the experience of pedagogical and methodological research in ECEC carried out with the Erasmus+ KA2 EDU LIBERTEC project, LIBrary as online Educational Repository Techniques in European Community pre-schools.
During the final conference, the European partners presented to the public the methodological proposal for the digitalized pedagogical documentation they jointly developed during the 28 months of project duration, specifically designed on the ECEC system’s needs and on those of its professionals. The LIBERTEC Guidelines offer a methodological cue to educators and ECEC coordinators to support traditional methods of pedagogical documentation with both digital supports and resources for the benefit of the work daily carried out by the educational equipe.
The Guidelines not only provide practical indications on how to structure a "Digital Library" with an internal repository function - easily integrated with any technological assets already in use - but also present a rich gallery of digital resources that can be used by operators for the organization, management and evaluation of daily activities or for the creation of inclusive educational activities.
The Guidelines also identify a specific package of digital skills, based on DigCompEdu - The European reference framework on digital skills for teachers and trainers - which helps operators to approach digitalized pedagogical documentation and other digital resources useful for educational purposes in a technically appropriate, professional and aware way.
A round table discussion on the future orientations of the 0-6 hubs and the modernization of ECEC closed the conference with the interesting contribution of the Erasmus+ National Agency for Education INDIRE - National Institute for Documentation, Innovation and Educational Research and the Director of the Lastra a Signa Comprehensive Institute (0-6 Hub).
