Last 08-09 July 2021 it was held in Patras the third official transnational meeting for the Project READ-COM - Reading Communities from the paper books to the digital era (ERASMUS+ K.A 2, Strategic Partnerships for EDUCATION, Development of Innovation).
One year after the outbreak of the pandemic, transnational activities finally get back to their normal course and the European partners met again face-to-face in Patras, to discuss the progress of the READ-COM project. Despite some limitations due to regulations for the covid-19 pandemic, the meeting took place in an effective and fruitful way. During the meeting, the preliminary results of Intellectual Output 2, to which the partners worked on during this winter, were discussed. In this intellectual production, the toolkit, over 500 activities for teaching and reading education for children between the ages of 3 and 12 have been grouped, designed to be an important aid for teachers and families. The Toolkit will be made available in all the languages of the partner countries: Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, English and Greek.
Furthermore, the project website was presented by the Spanish partners of the University of Malaga: https://www.read-com-eu.uma.es
During the meeting it was also decided that the website, currently only available in English, will be translated in its essential parts also into the languages of all the partner countries, to allow its use to the greatest possible number of users.
The meeting also discussed the Intellectual Output 3, which consists in the creation of an app freely usable by teachers and families for literacy and reading education, defining the key points and the roadmap for its realization.
