On 28-29 January 2019, the Slovak Applicant Pre Edukáciu Sabinova hosted the Kick Off Meeting of TEE – Traditions, Etichs and Etiquette (ERASMUS+ K.A 2, Strategic Partnerships for ADULT EDUCATION, Development of Innovation).
The project aims to develop innovative good practices and specific tools to promote cultural responsible tourism, social ethic and sustainability, fostering the discover, safeguard and enhancement both of local traditions and intercultural exchange.
During the meeting partners traced the main outlines for the project workplan and organized the activities to be developed in the following months.
Within the TEE project will be designed and implemented three different products (Inttellectual Outputs):
A thematic COMIC with stripes that invite tourists in a fun and engaging way to adopt the “etiquette” of the "responsible traveler", with correct and polite behavior, respectful of the uses, customs and traditions of the visited country;
"Traditions, customs and Etiquettes", a paper and digital publication related to ethical and cultural issues, aimed to promote the knowledge of local traditions and their respect, underlining the value of the behavioral unwritten rules for responsible traveler as well as the most common attitudes of majorities towards minorities and / or migrants;
a specific training course for the development of transversal skills related to how respect the diversity and cooperate with different people, supporting the adoption of appropriate behaviors and promoting tolerance and the ethics of being together. The course will also contain a section on the history of philosophy, explained through the use of illustrations and practical examples.
