Erasmus+ HEROES Project - Seminar on presentation and transfer of results: sustainability perspectives for the approach to Heritage Education proposed by the project

Centro Machiavelli hosts the seminar of transfer and sharing of the results of the project HEROES

Today, 23 November 2021, at the Centro Machiavelli in Florence held the seminar of transfer and sharing of the results of the project HEROES in which all partners participated: Comprehensive Institute "John XXIII" of Terranova Bracciolini (Arezzo) - (Guest - Recipient); Uffizi Galleries - Department of Education and Youth - Florence (Project leader); Centro Machiavelli - Dip. Training and European Design - Florence (Partner); Technical Institute for Tourism "Marco Polo" - Florence (Partner).

The meeting opened with a general welcome and subsequent opening of works by Dr. Mario Paiano (Centro Machiavelli) and Dr.ssa Silvia Mascalchi (Uffizi Gallery).

Then followed the general presentation of the project HEROES with its objectives, content, activities, products and results, by Dr.ssa Giulia Moretti (Centro Machiavelli). Specifically, Intellectual Output 1 were explained, with a roundup on the HEROES model through the guidelines and the educational method peer to peer, and 2, with a general overview.

Once the project was clarified, the educational activities carried out by the Technical Institute for Tourism "Marco Polo" and the Uffizi Galleries were exhibited. For the former, Professors Paola Cameo and Paola Moraschinelli showcased the local experience and the European experience of the Malaga LTTA in October 2021 respectively. Regarding the Uffizi, Dr.ssa Silvia Mascalchi illustrated and explained a video on "Digital Art Ambassadors: from the pandemic emergency to innovative creativity".

The seminar ended with a discussion table on cultural heritage and educational systems and the possible application of the HEROES Model in different contexts and levels of learning.
